Rush Limbaugh on Kurt Warner, Steelers' fans
In the category of WTF, Rush Limbaugh has again compared hoping Obama fails to a Steelers' fan wanting Arizona Cardinals' QB Kurt Warner to fail in the Super Bowl. Is Limbaugh on drugs? Oh wait, he is.
Limbaugh should know to keep his mouth shut in regards to football, especially NFL QB's. After all, the last time he invoked the name of a QB it got him fired from NFL Sunday Countdown.

And why drag Steelers' fans into a discussion about Limbaugh rooting for Obama to fail. Doesn't he know that Steelers' owner Dan Rooney (a Republican, no less) is tight with the president, having recently been named the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland.
Wish I had Jim Derych's ear today. I'm curious what he'd have to say about Limbaugh's various rants on Obama and failure.

The fact of the matter is what they are saying is dead on. As a recent college graduate, I dont want to be held back from suceding because I have to pay for decades to bailout fat cats and irresponsible and greedy private spending. Plus a plethora more on proven failed social policy. However, in the words of the great Chuck Noll, "Democrats just dont get it."
He was just putting things in layman's terms. Not a big deal.
I don't understand why you are all worked up (aside from what appears to be knee-jerk hatred of Rush) his point is right. Everyone thinks it's mean to hope someone fails...well if they are trying to achieve something you are opposed to - say Obama's plan is probably different from what Rush's goals are JUST LIKE the Steeler's plans for SB XLIII were far different from the Cardinals' - you hope they fail.

If you knew anything about Rush Limbaugh and his policies other than what the media says. You would know that Rush is a lifelong Steeler Fan. He is simply saying he believes in the Steelers and loves them and by default he hopes the opposition fails. In politics he feels the same way. He's a lifelong conservative, he believes in those principles and when someone is running the country believes in the opposite principles then off course he hopes they will fail. And people are jumping on him about it.
Rush is a fine American, which is something that can't be said of our president who wasn't even born here, much less a citizen. Focus on football, not politics.
Limbaugh said that if Obama wanted socialism, he wanted him to fail.....and I agree. And we all know why Dan Rooney supported Obama....he sold his soul to be given the Ireland position. Let's just hope he doesn't do the same with his ideals when it comes to the Steelers.

Rush is so dumb he cant even make a good analogy. Last time I checked, Obama is the president of the USA while the Cardinals were not the AMERICAN CARDINALS. Also , if Cardinals management messes up, that has a bad effect only on the Cardinals and if the coaches madea mistake in the SB, it would help only the Steelers. If Obama fails,that is not good for most of us.
Oh, a 3 freaking percent increase in marginal income above 250K will only kill the motivation of a moron. You still pay the same tax rate below 250K portion of the income as the others earning less than that. And you want waste of my tax payer money? How about the massive Iraq war costs that I didnt support. Not to mention the war profiteering by greedy defense contractors. I guess as long as one plays the fear card, one can get away with fleecing the government. But you help poor people, even if some may end up being lazy, wow, that's the going to kill our budget. Rush was right on with what he said. I heard it live. His point was well made. You should listen to what he was saying instead of running your mouth.

Rush is qualified to speak to what Steelers fans think, as he himself is a Steelers fan. Dan Rooney sold out his polotical convictions & supported B. Hussian Obama to get an appointment, what a punk. Rush is right we can't afford to see Hussian's socialist agenda succeed, it will be the death of our Republic, and freedom in the world.
By the way, Rush is on FM News Talk 104 7, which is owned by Clear Channel, which also owns 102.5 DVE, which broadcasts... THE STEELERS! Maybe KDKA would love to have the 3 Fat Stooges (Limbaugh, Honsberger and Kevin Miller) on the same station!
