Dick Hoak to retire

Overshadowed by all the speculation over Bill Cowher's future is the retirement of running backs coach Dick Hoak, who served as an assistant coach with the Steelers for an NFL-record 35 consecutive seasons and has five Super Bowl rings. Hoak has been a Pittsburgh Steelers player or coach for all but one season since 1961.
